Occupation:
Age:
Location:
Interests:
We are sisters who want to be Texas Biggest Losers. Kristie lives in Houston. Kelley lives in Pflugerville. We are doing this first because we need to be in better health. We have both always loved being active, but our weight gains have created barriers to the activities we love. Kelley especially needs to be there for her 9 year old son. She adopted him 2 years ago and he IS VERY ACTIVE. We LOVE the BIGGEST LOSER. If we could afford Bob or Jillian we'd hire them if even for one day.. We're following the Biggest Loser Mealplan. Kelley is now eating breakfast, and Kristie is eating a healthy breakfast. Kristie's goal is to ride the MS150 so she'll be biking, walking and weigh traing. Kelley joined a gym and is taking Kickboxing. She also uses the elliptical, bike, and is swimmng laps. We plan on snowboarding during spring break and want to complete a run without stopping for a break. We want to prove that everything doesn't have to be bigger in Texas. SEE YOU AT THE FINALE!
WEEK 2 July 18th-July 24th

Post Vacationitis

Alright, I got back from vacation, and have been trying to get back in the groove foodwise, exercisewise, and workwise, homecleaningwise, and having difficulty in all areas, I want to still be on vacation and do what I want not what I need. School starts next week-I cannot believe summer is almost over! What happened to my mojo, my umph, my KICKASSEDNESS, someone please come kick my ass to help me get back on track. Kelley

Congrats to this weeks winners, I got 4th, no medal for 4th, aw man, I spent too much time actually watching the Olympics. Love the SWIMMING and DIVING. I want to Dive again. Had a great time on vacation too. Got in some exercises. School starts next week, so my plan is to simplify meals, and drop Jonathan off at school and make it to the gym at least 3 mornings a week, then walk the track while he is at football practice. MUST GET THIN, MUST LOSE FASTER. Since this is the last week of the Olympics hope everyone is hitting it hard. It's my last chance to get on that medal stand. I was sooooo close last week I could taste it. Kelley

Medal Winners Delayed

My brain was turned off during vacation so I'm too tired to add points tonight so Medal Winners will be posted tomorrow. Even though it was overcast, I had a blast at the beach, beat the previous 44 days of stifling 100 degree weather in Austin. I had more self-confidence. I boogie boarded and built a sand castle and Jonathan just had a blast playing in the waves. And not having to deal with sunburns is a good thing too. Then I got back and took a cuff making (bracelet) class at our local bead shop and it turned out FAULOUS. I'll try to get pics up of the beach and the bracelet tomorrow-after the medal winners are posted. Kelley

where's the tan?

We spent 3 days at the beach (went down Thursday night and came back Sunday) and I don't have much of a tan. It rained most of the day Saturday and was actually chilly at the beach. We came back early Sunday and I had to go and lie out by the pool so I can have some assemblance of a tan before I go back to work. It was cut short as well due to rain. My mantra is: tan fat looks better than white fat :)

Happy Thursday

Yea, I don't have to go back to work until Tuesday, we're headed to the coast to meet up with Kristie for a Island with a palm treemini vacationIsland with a palm tree. We're going to the beachSun and I'm taking 31 pounds less with me this time. I'd like for it to be more, but I can only blame myself, I get this resolve, then it lasts like 4 days, if it could just last 6, I know I can eat what I want on Saturdays. I know I can workout harder, I know I can do better with portion control, and I know I'd rather be thin then eat extra calories. My college reunion is Nov. 7th, and my goal was to lose 80 pounds by then, at the rate I'm going I won't make it.I NEED TO START WRITING DOWN WHAT I EAT AGAIN. I'm going to some reevaluating and have a stricter game plan when I get back. I get back from vacation Sun. but decided to still take Monday off so get my house in order(literally and figurativly) ALSO TODAY IS LAST CHANCE WORKOUT FOR WEEK 5 OF THE OLYMPICS. Red heartKelley
